In her new role for the Rhode Island-based health system, Zollicoffer devises Lifespan’s strategy to cultivate a diverse and inclusive workplace. The exec is tasked with increasing diverse representation at all levels of the organization.

She is also responsible for making sure DEI perspectives are woven into decision-making processes.
Zollicoffer also works to ensure that Lifespan is promoting change in the larger community the health system serves, according to a release on her appointment.
“Christin is a dynamic leader with an impressive record of achieving results in dynamic healthcare environments,” Lifespan Interim President and CEO Arthur Sampson said in a statement.
Previously, Zollicoffer led DEI strategy and training at Michigan-based Trinity Health, and launched initiatives including executive and leadership training on unconscious bias.
