Dive Insight:
Epic clocked in 2014 revenues of $1.8 billion.
"My goal in pledging 99% of my assets to philanthropy is to help others with roots—food, warmth, shelter, healthcare, education—so they too can have wings," said Faulkner in a May 2015 letter. The Pledge members recently convened for the Annual Gathering to discuss topics such as leveraging philanthropy to drive women's opportunities in the economy, solve environmental issues, and philanthropy's role in scientific and medical research.
Classy move, Judy.
