- The IRS has announced the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) fee will increase from $2.08 to $2.17 per covered life, LifeHealthPro reports.
- The fee will apply to policy and health plan years that end from Oct. 1, 2015 to Oct. 1, 2016.
- Under the ACA, self-insured major medical plans and all health insurers are required to pay the PCORI fee.
