June 16, 2026 — Strive Health, the national leader in value-based kidney care, has welcomed two new members to its executive team. Jamie Sharp, M.D., has been named chief medical officer and will oversee Strive’s clinical strategy and performance. Serving as chief financial officer, Chris Rigg will drive financial strategy and operations, while helping scale the business and deploy AI technologies.
“As we continue to build on Strive’s strong momentum, Jamie and Chris stood out as the right leaders for this moment,” said Paul Marchetti, Strive’s president. “They bring track records of success and execution that will help us strengthen our performance-based culture, keep evolving our clinical model and build on the results-oriented ways of working that continue to drive Strive’s success.”
Prior to joining Strive, Sharp served as Chief Medical Officer at Rippl, where she championed a value-based approach and used innovative technology to transform dementia care for patients and their caregivers. Previously, she held senior executive roles at Aetna, a CVS Health Company; naviHealth; and Evolent Health, consistently prioritizing high-quality care and better outcomes for patients. Drawing on this experience, Sharp will advance clinical outcomes and care model transformation at Strive.
“Chronic illnesses such as kidney disease, diabetes, heart disease and hypertension affect three out of four adults and account for about 90% of healthcare spending,” Sharp said. “Treating kidney disease is not a singular issue. Patients are often navigating multiple complex conditions that require comprehensive care and coordination. I look forward to contributing to the holistic, integrated approach to supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey.”
Drawing on his broad industry experience and a collaborative, solutions-oriented leadership approach, Rigg will oversee financial operations at Strive. He will play a key role in building scalable infrastructure to support the company's growth and advancing value-based risk contracting initiatives.
Before joining Strive, Rigg most recently served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Commercial Health Benefits at Elevance Health, where he led financial strategy and performance for the organization's commercial health plan business. In that role, he supported more than 32 million consumers across individual and employer group products. Earlier in his career, Rigg worked as an equity research analyst at Deutsche Bank, Susquehanna International Group and Merrill Lynch, advising investors on healthcare services, managed care and value-based care, with a focus on financial performance and emerging market trends.
“Joining Strive gives me the opportunity to bring a strategic financial perspective to the company’s partnerships and guide initiatives, ultimately driving better outcomes for patients and providers,” Rigg said. “I’m committed to help advance the long-term evolution of kidney care in the U.S. through my work at Strive.”
“Sharp and Rigg’s leadership will help accelerate Strive’s ability to deliver measurable outcomes for patients, providers and payers as Strive continues to expand its value-based kidney care model nationwide,” said Chris Riopelle, Strive’s co-founder and CEO.
