Kyruus Announces Collaboration with IBM to Leverage IBM Watson Virtual Agent with Kyruus ProviderMatch™ to Enable AI-Assisted Patient-Provider Matching and Scheduling
LAS VEGAS– (HIMSS Booth #12128) – Kyruus, a leader in provider search and scheduling solutions for health systems, today announced a collaboration with IBM to integrate IBM’s Watson Virtual Agent with Kyruus ProviderMatch’s smart search and appointment booking capabilities. The combination of ProviderMatch and Watson Virtual Agent is expected to enable health systems to offer enhanced digital self-service experiences to consumers, driving patient acquisition and conversion, while boosting operational efficiency.
The integration will be designed to allow health systems to leverage chatbots to match patients effectively with providers through automated routing and self-service appointment booking and management capabilities. Consumers will be able to engage the virtual agent to help them identify appropriate providers for their needs and schedule appointments – and transfer to a live human agent when needed. Leveraging the KyruusOne™ provider data management platform - including granular provider expertise and enterprise-wide appointment availability data – the solution will help health systems better utilize their capacity while helping reduce barriers to access for consumers. Enabling consumers to cancel and reschedule appointments will also deliver added convenience while reducing unnecessary calls to health system access centers.
