GHX My Exchange is the industry-first solution where trading partners can view the
same information in real time to collaborate on order accuracy and efficiency
NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. and LOUISVILLE, Colo. – April 24, 2017 – Global Healthcare Exchange, LLC (GHX) today announced the new My Exchange order management system for healthcare’s largest e-commerce network. The new system delivers the industry’s highest levels of visibility and collaboration between provider and supplier trading partners for order management.
My Exchange was unveiled at the GHX Healthcare Supply Chain Summit, an annual industry event taking place today through Wednesday in National Harbor, Md. The new system is built on CoreX, the company’s cloud-based advanced technology platform. CoreX powers the GHX Global Network, the largest community of healthcare trading partners connecting supply chain, finance and clinical professionals with their suppliers and partners. North American GHX Exchange customers, who today total more than 4,100 hospitals and more than 600 manufacturers, distributors and warehouses, can begin migrating to the new order management system May 1.
My Exchange reduces manual work and provides real-time data to view and validate order information. Collaborating from within a single platform, the new My Exchange is the only place in healthcare where providers and suppliers can look at the same set of data, regardless of ERP system, in real time. The streamlined order view addresses the most common challenges associated with document status, order visibility and trading partner exception resolution. Detailed transaction information and the ability to communicate in real time with trading partner customers helps enable all parties to achieve efficiency and productivity in order management. When exceptions do occur, partners are empowered to quickly move to resolution from within the application using a new social communication feature. This increases the efficiency of the order management process that can result in real savings for both providers and suppliers.
“The new My Exchange was redesigned from the ground up with specific consideration to user experience and modern user interface controls to help automate the flow of all types of documents to new levels for GHX customers,” said Bruce Johnson, CEO and president, GHX. “My Exchange increases accuracy and efficiency in the order management business process, and in so doing cuts unnecessary cost out of healthcare. Our new system is a breakthrough in order management capabilities that will help transform trading partner collaboration for the benefit of the industry.”
My Exchange’s key capabilities include:
A common and real-time repository to manage the detailed life-cycle of an order from purchase order (PO) to payment in collaboration with the trading partner.
One click access from the purchase order (PO) to each unique transaction in the order history. Expand and obtain a detailed view of the order transaction from the PO view.
Personalized work lists that allow users to get in front of problems that could affect customer satisfaction by segmenting orders by trading partner, order type, channel or status to be aware of trends.
Workflow features that help enable users to easily see what needs attention, prioritize efforts and better allocate resources; flag or mark orders and invoices to show progress or completion.
Easy to use and understand analytics; current trending data for order volume, exceptions and invoices guide users to what they need to focus on right now.
Customizable notifications for data and transactions that drive organizational goals for efficiency. Users have control over how they receive information, through email, text or through the GHX dashboard.
GHX customers will begin self-migration to the new version on May 1, 2017 by creating a new single login and password through the current My Exchange application. Customers will retain access to both the current and new version of My Exchange through the summer of 2017.
