Petalo CEO to be Keynote Speaker at LeadingAge Maine & New Hampshire’s 2020 Annual Meeting
Camille Roussel, co-founder of the first-of-its-kind platform focused on improving senior care operations through technology, invited to headline the major senior care industry virtual meeting
Rockville, MD – March 12, 2020 – Camille Roussel, President and CEO of Petalo.ai, a platform that harnesses the dynamism of technology to drive innovation across senior care operations, will be featured as the keynote speaker at LeadingAge Maine & New Hampshire’s Aging Services and The Great Acceleration + 2020 Annual Meeting, set to take place virtually due to heightened sensitivities to health risks, on April 8.
Roussel’s presentation on “Aging Services and The Great Acceleration” will take place during the General Session from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. EDT. His presentation will draw on his extensive experience within the senior care industry and explore how driving forces such as speed, individualization, and dematerialization are reshaping healthcare, and how providers can respond.
“It is exciting to talk about how for thousands of years people could expect only minimal change within their lifetime. Now, however, we are entering an era where technological advances and socio-economic trends are growing exponentially,” Roussel said. “This session will explore how providers can embrace these trends to deal with an increasingly complex environment and reshape the field of aging services.”
With the mission to transform the senior care industry, Roussel cofounded Petalo alongside fellow industry veteran Jason Gottschalk. The revolutionary Petalo platform service leverages the latest in voice-first technology, artificial intelligence, and Amazon Alexa, to better customer satisfaction and dramatically improve staff efficiency.
“Technology has opened so many doors for us in learning how to increase interoperability within senior care facilities –from the inside out,” Roussel said. “Long-held beliefs that organizations can keep up by throwing people, money, and technology at this problem are no longer valid. Instead, organizations must now focus on innovation.”
