The company provides free HR software for small businesses and sells insurance options designed to capitalize on federal healthcare changes. It has notably stated that it intends to eliminate insurance brokers.
"Zenefits' initial footprint for market entry has since exceeded expectations, as they expand within one of the hottest tech markets in the U.S. with a new location in Tempe," Chris Camacho, president and CEO of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, told the Arizona Republic.
