QualiTest surveyed more than 150 healthcare executives; most were in IT positions. Of those surveyed, 83% said they think ICD-10 will launch on October 1 as scheduled. Although 67% said they believe the switch from ICD-9 to ICD-10 will affect their revenues, only 28% have done revenue impact testing.
Of the survey respondents, 46% said they did not take advantage of the end-to-end testing offered by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services in January, but 61% said they will participate in the next round.
