- Both River Valley Health Partners (RVHP) and Mercy Health have agreed to cease negotiations and withdraw a letter of intent to merge that was signed in late 2014.
- Pete Wicks, Chairman of the Board of Trustees for RVHP said as the merger progressed, the decision was made that RVHP "may need to move in a different direction."
- Through the first two months of 2015, RVHP has been able to meet critical financial targets that were put in place last fall to ensure the viability of the health system as a stand-alone entity, according to the organization.
