Dive Insight:
Increasingly, research organizations are looking at ways in which mobile health tools can improve health. "These mHealth tools may facilitate more timely and effective patient-provider communications throught education communication around goal setting, treatment reminders, feedback on patient progress and may improve health outcomes," NIH stated, according to Health Data Management. It's little wonder that other government research organizations, such as the Agency for Healthcare Quality and Research, are also offering grants that facilitate the development of mHealth solutions for patients needing long-term self-management.
