NorthShore-LIJ has been expanding and has a strategic alliance with Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey and Maimonides Medical Center in New York. It also announced it would be adding Peconic Bay Medical Center to its network and recently launched a health plan, CareConnect. As part of the joint venture with Newport Health, a new company will be formed to further develop Health Connect and implement the platform at third-party hospitals and healthcare facilities across the US.
