Here's a case of the large swallowing up the small in a competitive field, and the move expands (if only a little) DaVita's substantial dialysis treatment presence. The Denver company already operates 2,210 clinics in 46 states.
"In today's changing healthcare environment, combining with DaVita, a patient-centric organization, will benefit all of our stakeholders," Renal Ventures CEO Larry Chatfield said in a news release.
