- Plans for Coral Springs include building a new 65,000 square-foot facility for a clinic with up to 40 exam rooms and an ambulatory surgical center with several operating suites. It will also serve as a family health center for surrounding communities.
- The Coral Springs facility will bring Cleveland Clinic Florida up to seven locations throughout Broward and Palm Beach counties in addition to its Weston main campus.
Dive Insight:
Healthcare Dive reported back in June Cleveland Clinic's operating income jumped 45.1% from the previous year, up to $60.7 million in the first quarter of 2015. This was attributed to Medicaid expansion, strategic alliances, building a value-based business model and cost-saving initiatives.
