David Campbell said in a statement that the move to midtown Raleigh "is an investment in the quality of life for our employees and will help us to recruit and retain the best talent anywhere." Forbes ranked Raleigh as the number one best place for business in 2014, adding that the city's business costs are 18% below the national average.
Allscripts recorded Q1 revenue that was down 2% to $335 million versus $340 million in Q1 2014. Software delivery, support and maintenance revenue, at $228 million in Q1, was flat compared with the same quarter last year. Client services revenue was down 5% to $107 million.
